According to the recent reports from Macotakara, the upcoming 6.7-inch iPhone 12 is expected to be much thinner than the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The rumor is that the phone will be thinner in size as compare to the iPhone 11 and there only difference is in camera of these two phones.
The recent supply chain report from Macotakara for the 2020 iPhone lineup revealed these details. The report sheds light on the iPhone 12 lineup in terms of design of the phone for 2020.
As per the reports of Macotakara, the iPhone 12 lineup may come with the “same housing design” as the iPhone 11. The difference is in the camera technology of these two phones. The camera design of iPhone 12 will feature a boxier design similar to the iPhone 4.
As per the report the size of the 5.4-inch iPhone 12 is midway between the iPhone SE and iPhone 8. The 6.1 inch version will have a size between the iPhone 11 and iPhone Pro Max. The 6.7-inch iPhone 12 will come in 7.4mm thickness. Also the 6.7-inch iPhone 12 will feature a camera with a bigger sensor.
The latest report of Macotakara does not match with the reports from Kuo, which says that the 5.4 inch and 6.1-inch models will have dual-camera setups. As per Kuo, there will be separate variants for 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch model.
According to Kuo the iPhone 12 will have iPhone 4 like features. Earlier, both Macotakara and Kuo have leaked the information very accurately. This time there are many more contradictions on the specification of upcoming iPhone 12 series phones.
The new iPhone 12 is expected to be released this year, but still there is no official word about the release date of this phone.
